We started out as a group of sculptors, working with materials like wood, plaster, and metal for years. One day, we stumbled upon clay—a material that seemed simple at first but turned out to be full of magic. After being fired at high temperatures, it hardens into a lasting form, and with a wide range of built-in colors, it offers stunning visual expression. We experimented with creating figurines from clay, and the results amazed us. No painting was needed—the colors came alive through the material itself, revealing vivid details and emotional depth. We wanted to bring more emotion and surprise into everyday life through clay. That’s how the clay figurine was born—each one handcrafted to capture the warmth of real moments and turn them into something everlasting. Now, I’ve founded Claclay. And in the future, we won’t stop at clay figurines. Like pop artists who bring art into everyday life, Claclay will explore new materials and create more kinds of products—always aiming to surprise and inspire. We’re not here to build some grand empire. We just want to create simple, beautiful things. Claclay has put on its cape and become a magician—ready to bring more and more wonder into the world.
